Tiresome and Amazement

im really exhausted lately, i think its a negative effect due to my hectic schedule and lack of sleep since last month. something is not right with my body, perhaps its a sign of flu. fortunately, the amount of homeworks has been decreasing coz term test will begin next week. im glad that this term is almost over and holiday is coming. i think im not the only one who feel this way.. hehe...

since i only have one presentation for monday i decided to read a book. reading a book is a way of refreshing for me. if i get a good book that i like, i will read it, get into it, and forget everything happened in my life. i can sob when the main character died or laugh loudly when something funny happened. reading a book could entertain me more than tv, music, radio, or internet but its not easy to find a book that i really like. also reading books helps me to develop my english. its an unusual way of refreshing, right.. lol
Twilight is the title of the book that i read. some of my friends suggested this book to me and told me that this book is even better than harry potter. drove by curiousity and my desire to read a book other than those thick textbooks i decided to borrow that book from a friend.

the book is quite thick but its interesting for me. i started to read and the more i read the story become more interesting, the main story is not really unique actually, it still talks about teenage romance but the boy was a vampire that what differ this story with other stories. the way the writer tell this story makes me feel drown in the story. the language used was pretty simple so i can understand it easily, its important since my english is not really good..lol.

i read until chapter 9 and realized that i have been reading for about 2 hours. i stopped and decided to see the last page to know more about the author. the author is stephanie meyer and i was surprised when i read her short bio and found out that she was graduated from BYU. wow... the first thing crossed in my mind was, is she an LDS?. i googled and found out that its true, shes an LDS. its surprising because vampire is not a common theme taken by an LDS writer. i read that she is a devouted person, she even care more about activities in her family home evening than writing her books.

i also saw that in her books, there are some LDS principles applied like free agency and sacrificing. she also chose not to use premarital sex, tobacco, or alcohol in her books although her publisher asked her to include them in her books, she declined due to her belief.

im pretty amazed by her, a housewife who successfully turned into a best-seller author. many people compare her to jk rowling who is the richest writer alive nowadays, many believe that she is even better.
amazing,, right...
